Not allowed
Don't publish, link to or use HostX for:
- Anything illegal where you or your visitors are, or that helps someone break the law.
- Sexual content involving minors, in any form. We report it to the authorities.
- Phishing, fake sign-in or payment pages, scams, or anything that pretends to be a person, company or service it isn't.
- Malware, exploits, cryptocurrency miners, or infrastructure for attacks (command-and-control, redirectors, payload hosting).
- Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
- Harassment, threats, incitement to violence, or publishing someone's private information without consent.
- Spam, including pages made to game search engines or to land people from unsolicited messages.
Using the service fairly
- Don't try to get around limits, for example with several accounts.
- Don't use HostX mainly as a file or video store, or a download mirror, rather than for websites.
- Don't probe, overload or try to break HostX or other people's sites, or get into accounts that aren't yours. If you've found a security problem, tell us and we'll work with you.
AI apps act for you
Whatever an AI app or script publishes through your account counts as published by you. Review what you connect, and disconnect anything you no longer use.
Reporting a site
Email abuse@xhost.buzz with the site's link and what's wrong with it. The abuse page has the details.
What we do
We review every report. When a site breaks this policy we suspend it: visitors then see a page saying it was taken down, and its owner can't publish to it or bring it back. For serious or repeated breaches we suspend the whole account. Where it's safe and lawful to, we tell the owner why.
If you think we got it wrong, reply to our message or email abuse@xhost.buzz with the site's link. We'll look again, and restore the site if it was a mistake.
